HOUSTON, Aug. 15, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — CARBO’s Max Nikolaev was named a Gold Stevie® Award winner in the Executive of the Year category in The 19e Annual International Business Awards® today.

The International Business Awards are the premier business awards program in the world. All people and organizations around the world – public and private, profit and non-profit, large and small – can submit nominations. The 2022 IBAs received applications from organizations in 67 countries and territories.

Winners will be celebrated at a gala banquet at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel, London, England on Saturday, October 15 – the first live IBA Awards ceremony since 2019.

More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and virtually every industry were submitted for consideration this year in a wide range of categories, including Company of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Startup of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Senior Executive of the Year, among others. This year’s competition also included a number of new categories to recognize the achievements of organizations and individuals in social media and thought leadership.

Nikolaev joined CARBO, a leading provider of advanced technologies to create production improvement solutions that help E&P operators design, build and optimize the frac, as Vice President, Energy in 2020 after working for 15 years for Schlumberger. Nikolaev holds a Masters in Petroleum Engineering, a Masters in People Management and a Global Executive MBA from TRIUM (a joint program between New York Stern Business School, London School of Economics and HEC in Paris) .
